"Cuando decidí convertirme al judaísmo, me puse en contacto con el Rabinowitz Winter y tuvimos una larga charla por teléfono, en donde yo expliqué las razones por las cuales quería convertirme y el Rabino me explicó cómo sería el proceso, cuales eran los pasos a seguir y la importancia de esta elección en mi vida y la de mi familia.

Y así comenzamos el curso (mi futuro marido en ese entonces y yo) por internet. Tomamos clases semanales por Skype durante 9 meses.  Aprendi la historia de judaísmo, las costumbres, tradiciones, las festividades, y también acerca de la Tora y el Talmud. Aprendi el alfabeto hebreo y luego a leer en hebreo.

Este 3 de agosto se cumplen dos años del casamiento de mi hija Rochelle en San Juan de Puerto Rico. Uno de mis grandes deseos para la boda de Rochelle & Adam, era que Rabbi Winter los pudiera casar. Y Gracias a D-s, se me dio. Rabbi Winter fue tambien con quien Rochelle se preparo e hizo su ceremonia de Bat-Mitzvah varios años antes. Y desde entonces, le decía siempre a Enia y al Rabbi "de chiste", que El iba a casarla cuando llegara el momento. 
Los años que Rabbi Winter, y Enia por supuesto, estuvieron en Puerto Rico fueron unos especiales para mi familia y para mi. Tuvimos una conexión inmediata. Rabbi Winter represento lo que un Rabino debiera ser para una Comunidad. Fue un gran Líder Religioso, un Hombre de Fe, a quien uno podia acudir en cualquier momento. En El, encontré lo que yo buscaba en la figura de un Rabino, y me dio confianza, respeto y esperanza. 
Creo que para cualquier Familia, seria un honor el que Rabbi Winter oficie cualquier ceremonia religiosa que estén celebrando. El atribuyera para que sea hasta mas significativa y memorable.
